Proudi Dog Food

Proudi dog food is sold as frozen raw patties, twelve 200g patties to a 2.4kg box, across beef, chicken, lamb, red combo, kangaroo and beef, turkey and chicken, and ocean combo and turkey. Every recipe is at least 97% muscle meat, organ and finely ground bone with 3% vitamins and minerals, and is formulated to exceed AAFCO and FEDIAF nutrient levels for adult dogs and puppies, so it is a complete diet rather than a topper.

Fat content is the comparison worth making. Kangaroo and Beef is the leanest patty Proudi makes at 5.9% crude fat against 14.2% protein, which suits a dog on a weight plan or one that does not cope with richer food. Beef, chicken and lamb are single-protein and the practical place to begin an elimination trial with your vet; the combo recipes are fine for a dog with nothing to rule out. Puppies get their own 100g turkey and beef patty so meals can stay small and frequent.

Two practical notes. Raw is commonly fed at 2–3% of body weight a day, so a 2.4kg box is several days rather than a fortnight for a medium dog — use the per-patty calorie figure on each product page to work out yours.
