Simple Solution Pet Stain & Odour Removers
Simple Solution is a household pet cleaning range, and the products we stock are the UK and European metric line — 500ml, 600g, 750ml, 1 litre and the 400ml Flairosol. Most of the range works on the same principle: enzymes break a pet mess down into its component parts, then Pro-Bacteria cultures consume what is left. That second stage is the one that matters, because the residue the cultures eat is the scent marker that brings a dog or cat back to the same spot. A cleaner that only perfumes over the smell leaves the marker in place.
Which product for which mess
Fresh accident on carpet or upholstery. The 750ml Home Stain & Odour Remover is the everyday bottle, in Rain Forest or Spring Breeze — same formula, choose on fragrance. The species-specific Dog version is the same idea tuned to dog messes.
Dried in, or a spot that keeps coming back. Step up to the 500ml Extreme sprays, which run the enzymes and Pro-Bacteria at three times the concentration: for Dogs or for Cats.
Urine that has gone through to the underlay. Urine Destroyer is formulated for urine proteins at that depth. The 1L is a pour bottle so you can saturate properly; the 400ml Flairosol is a propellant-free sprayer. Note that the 400ml Refill has no sprayer at all — buy the Flairosol first.
Sealed hard floors. The Hard Floor formula works in two minutes and you wipe dry, instead of the 24 to 48 hour dwell the carpet products need.
A whole room. Extreme Carpet Shampoo Concentrate goes in a carpet machine at 10ml per litre. For background odour between deep cleans, Carpet Freshener Powder is a sprinkle-and-vacuum job with no drying time.
Before you clean, find the mess
The UV Spot Spotter makes dried urine fluoresce so you can see marks you would otherwise only smell. It detects and does nothing else — it has no cleaning action — but treating the spots you can actually see is the difference between a room that smells clean and one that smells clean for a fortnight. Use it with the room darkened.
Beyond the removers
The range also covers the Cat Litter Freshener, a Pro-Bacteria granule that mixes through the tray; the Cage & Hutch Cleaner for small animal housing, which is a straightforward cleaner rather than an enzymatic one and carries a clove leaf oil allergen warning; and the training pad line — reusable Washable Training & Travel Pads and the Training Pad Holder that stops a puppy shredding a disposable.
One thing worth checking on the pads: sizes are named to the UK and Australian scheme, so 76 x 81cm is Medium and 86 x 91cm is Large. In the United States the same 76 x 81cm pad is sold as Large. Go by the centimetres.
Nothing in the range is suitable for leather, and on timber flooring follow your flooring supplier's advice.
