ZamiPet makes Relax & Calm in two formats, and the choice between them is about how your dog takes a dose rather than about strength. Both are Australian owned and made, and formulated by veterinarians.
The Relax & Calm chew comes in 150g (30 chews), 300g (60 chews) and 500g (100 chews). It combines L-tryptophan, valerian root, chamomile, L-theanine and magnesium citrate to support a healthy nervous system, and ZamiPet formulates it not to sedate, so the aim is a dog that settles rather than one that sleeps through the afternoon. Owners usually reach for it around storms and fireworks, car travel, vet and grooming visits, and time left alone. The clover-shaped chew breaks cleanly, so a small dog gets a part chew instead of a crumbled tablet.
The High Strength Probiotics+ Relax & Calm sachet takes a different route, using four probiotic strains at 2 billion CFU per serve to work through the gut. Pick it if your dog spits chews out, or if you want a pre-measured dose stirred through food.
Either way, calming supplements sit alongside training and management rather than replacing them, and they are not sedatives. Anxiety that comes on suddenly or keeps escalating is worth a visit to your vet or a qualified behaviourist.
