The Feeding Dish is the food-side counterpart to the Water Dish — the same rock-finish resin and the same low profile, sized for greens, chopped fruit, pellets and gut-loaded insects. It is an open bowl with a shallow lip, which means it will not hold mealworms: they climb straight out and burrow into the substrate. For those, use the Worm Dish Mealworm Feeder, which has an escape ring moulded into the rim.
Three sizes — Medium, Large and X-Large. Exo Terra does not publish dimensions for this range on its product pages, so the most useful guide we can give honestly is the packed weight: 225g, 650g and 1.255kg respectively, which tracks the same step up in size as the Water Dish range. For crickets that need dusting before they go in, see the Cricket Feeding Rock. The rest of the range is in our Exo Terra collection.
Features
- Non-porous food-grade resin — a smooth, non-pitted interior that does not absorb fruit juices or hold bacteria in the surface.
- Built-in safety steps — feeder insects and small animals can climb out rather than being trapped in the bowl.
- Wide, heavy base — a larger lizard standing on the rim is unlikely to flip it and scatter the food.
- Shallow profile — low enough that a terrestrial species can reach in without climbing.
- Neutral rock finish — matches the Water Dish, so a paired setup looks intentional rather than assembled.
- Easy to disinfect — no interior texture for old food to lodge in.
Specifications
Medium (PT2811) · Large (PT2812) · X-Large (PT2813). Exo Terra does not publish dimensions or capacity for the Feeding Dish range; we have left those blank rather than estimate them. Shipping weights are 225g, 650g and 1.255kg — packed weight, not the weight of the dish.
