The Abutilon is the broad-leaved member of Exo Terra's four-plant Forest Plant range — a hanging artificial plant that mounts to the glass or the top of the terrarium and drops cover down into the mid-level of the enclosure. Broader leaves mean each stem screens more, so it takes fewer of them to break up an open front panel. The standing limitation on any replica applies here too: it does not transpire, so it will not help you hold humidity; it adds no oxygen; and it stays the size it arrives at. Against that, it does not care about being misted daily, climbed on or sat under a lamp.
Two sizes here, Small and Large — note we skip the Medium that Exo Terra catalogues, so the step between our two options is a large one. The manufacturer spells the name Abuliton on its own site, which is worth knowing if you go looking. The rest of the range is Croton, Ruscus and Mandarin, all the same format with different foliage.
