PreTrainer Mix is for horses coming back off a spell and building up before full training. Pre-training is its own phase: the horse is doing more than a paddock horse but is not yet in the workload that justifies a racing ration, and feeding it as though it were leads to a fresh, sore horse in week two.
Once the horse is in full work, move up to Trackline Mix or Performance Mix. Coming the other way, MainTain Mix is the spelling paddock bag.
Supplied as a 20kg bag. FeedRite is Australian-owned and manufactured in Australia.
Feeding
Feed with roughage and lift the rate in step with the work, not ahead of it. Introduce over 7 to 10 days. Feeding rates and the full guaranteed analysis are printed on the bag.
