Powdered sulphur has a long list of traditional uses around a property - blended into stock licks, dusted or mixed into oil for skin preparations, and used in the garden. It is a raw agricultural input sold by weight rather than a formulated animal product.
Available in 1kg, 2kg and 5kg.
Because it is a raw chemical rather than a registered veterinary product, it carries no label directions for treating animals and no approved rates. Traditional use is not the same as tested use, and elemental sulphur fed at the wrong rate is toxic. Get a rate from your vet or a nutritionist before feeding it, and treat the skin preparations as folk remedies rather than treatments.
Handling
- Fine sulphur powder is a dust hazard - wear a mask when handling in quantity
- Sulphur dust is combustible; store away from heat and ignition sources
