The Filter Cover is a two-part moulded shell — a front panel and a side panel — that hides the Bioflow internal filter behind a rock face. The four finishes are made to match Juwel's backgrounds of the same name, so a cover and a background together make the filter disappear rather than merely disguise it.
This is a cut-to-fit part, and gluing it on is permanent. The cover is supplied oversized with a cutting template printed on the back and a saw in the box; you cut the filter opening yourself, then bond it in place with Juwel Conexo adhesive, which is a separate purchase. If you also plan to fit a FilterGrid, do not use the printed template — Juwel says to cut the opening individually, or enlarge it later by hand with a knife.
