The HeliaLux Spectrum is Juwel's full-spectrum LED bar — white 9000 K and 6500 K LEDs plus separate blue, red and green channels — that drops into the top frame of a Juwel aquarium in place of the standard light unit. It is the right upgrade if you want plant-grade output and control over how the tank looks through the day.
Read this before you choose: out of the box the Spectrum is an on/off light. Juwel states it can only be controlled in conjunction with the HeliaLux AppControl — without that controller there is no dimming, no sunrise and sunset ramp and no colour mixing, just all four channels at full output. If a bright tank on a mechanical timer is all you need, a MultiLux LED tube set does that for less.
Choosing a length
The number is the Juwel frame size, not the tank length — the fixture itself is shorter (the 550 measures 534 mm). Match it to your aquarium:
- 550 27W — Trigon 350 LED
- 600 29W — Lido 120 LED
- 700 32W — Lido 200 LED, Trigon 190 LED
- 800 32W — Rio 125 LED
- 920 40W — Vision 180 LED
- 1000 48W — Rio 180 LED, Rio 290, Trigon 350 LED
- 1200 60W — Rio 240, Rio 300/350 LED, Vision 260 LED
- 1500 60W — Rio 400/450 LED, Vision 450 LED
Note that the Trigon 350 takes two different rail lengths — it appears against both the 550 and the 1000. Check which rail you are fitting before ordering; some owners need both.

The HeliaLux AppControl controller, the Spectrum Splitter for running two units, and the UniversalFit bracket for non-Juwel tanks (50–165 cm) are all sold separately. The HeliaLux power supplies we list are replacement parts — a new light already includes one.

Juwel does not publish an IP rating, operating voltage or rated LED life for this unit. It must not be operated under water — fit a drip loop and keep the connection above water level.
