LED Colour is the warm, reddish 4425 K tube. Its job is colour rendition rather than raw brightness — it lifts the reds and blues in fish and in red-leaved plants that a pure daylight tube leaves looking flat, while still supporting plant growth.
Run it as one of a pair, not on its own. A tank lit only by Colour looks heavy and pink. Juwel's intent is that it replaces one tube of a Day and Nature pair, so you keep the daylight and add the warmth.
These do not fit a T5 light unit. An LED tube cannot go into a T5 High-Lite unit — the units look near-identical but the control gear differs. Converting a T5 hood needs a MultiLux LED unit or a HeliaLux bar.
