LED Day is Juwel's 9000 K daylight tube — the brightest and coolest of the range. It makes natural colours read properly and drives plant growth, and it is the tube most Juwel LED units ship with as one of their pair.
These do not fit a T5 light unit. Juwel is explicit: an LED tube cannot replace a T5 High-Lite fluorescent tube, because the two light units have different integrated control gear even though they look near-identical from the outside. If your hood currently runs T5 tubes, you need a MultiLux LED unit or a HeliaLux bar, not these tubes. This is the most common wrong order on this product.
Choosing a length
Order by the length of the tube you are replacing, or by tank model. Do not match the MultiLux unit's cm number to the tube's mm number — they are different numbers for the same unit.
- 438mm — Lido 120 LED, Trigon 350 LED
- 590mm — Rio 125 LED, Lido 200 LED, Trigon 190 LED
- 742mm — Vision 180 LED
- 895mm — Rio 180 LED, Trigon 350 LED
- 1047mm — Rio 240, Rio 350 LED, Vision 260 LED
- 1200mm — Rio 450 LED, Vision 450 LED
The Trigon 350 appears twice because it takes two different tube lengths — check which one you are replacing.
Pair it with LED Nature for the standard Juwel two-tube combination, or with LED Colour to push reds and blues.
