Cell-E Premium pairs vitamin E with organic selenium, the antioxidant combination most often used for horses in hard aerobic work and for muscle recovery. Kohnke's Own also positions it for breeding stock. It is worth knowing that selenium has a genuinely narrow safe range in horses — if you are already feeding another selenium-fortified product, or your area is known to be selenium-replete, add up the total before stacking supplements.
Available in 1.2kg and 3kg packs plus a 6kg bucket. Horses that need selenium and vitamin E in a pelleted form with added B1 and magnesium may suit E-Se Supplets instead.
Benefits
- Antioxidant support — vitamin E with organic selenium
- Muscle recovery — aimed at horses in aerobic work and endurance
- Breeding stock — Kohnke's Own lists reproductive support as an intended use
- Three sizes — 1.2kg and 3kg packs, 6kg bucket for larger yards
Feeding Guide
Daily dose rates vary with bodyweight, workload and the rest of the ration. Follow the rate printed on the pack, and introduce any new supplement gradually over several days.
Kohnke's Own does not publish per-kilogram vitamin E or selenium figures online. The guaranteed analysis is printed on the pack — use it when calculating total dietary selenium.
