Tox-Target is a mycotoxin binder for horses exposed to mould toxins in feed and pasture — ryegrass, clover, black paspalum and weeds, and anywhere hot, humid and damp. It combines five binding agents to capture toxins in the gut with nutrients supporting liver, kidney, immune and digestive function. A binder reduces exposure; it does not make a badly affected paddock safe, so serious ryegrass staggers still means moving the horses off it.
Available in 1.4kg and 4kg packs and a 10kg bucket. Horses with ongoing hindgut irritation are often fed Formex alongside it.
Benefits
- Five binding agents — broader coverage than a single-clay binder
- Liver and kidney support — nutrients for the horse's own detoxification pathways
- Pasture risk seasons — built for hot, humid and damp conditions
- Three sizes — 1.4kg, 4kg and a 10kg bucket
Feeding Guide
Daily dose rates vary with bodyweight, workload and the rest of the ration. Follow the rate printed on the pack, and introduce any new supplement gradually over several days.
Kohnke's Own does not publish the full binder list or inclusion rates for Tox-Target online. The composition panel is printed on the pack.
