Bentobite is built on bentonite clay. Bentonite has a long history in ruminant nutrition as a buffer and binder — producers reach for it when stock move onto lush pasture, grain or other feed that upsets the rumen.
A clay block is a management aid, not insurance. The larger levers are still gradual dietary change and keeping adequate fibre in front of stock; the block sits alongside those rather than replacing them.
Feeding & Use
Place blocks where stock camp or water, under cover where possible. Introduce before the risk period rather than during it. Always provide clean, fresh water.
