A solid 280g block of Australian beef tallow, wheat, sunflower and millets with dried mealworms through it, for backyard laying hens. Peters positions it as a high-energy supplement and points to the linoleic acid content as the reason it can help egg size and production. It is dense, fatty food — genuinely useful in cold weather or through a moult, less so for a flock that is already well conditioned in mid-summer.
