Grain Selection is the plainest of the Peters banquet mixes — crunchy grains and crispy cereal puffs tossed with black sunflower seed and sweet-smelling oaten and lucerne chaff, over a fortified base pellet. If your rabbit or guinea pig picks the fruit out of the sweeter mixes and leaves everything else, this is the one to try.
This listing is the 4kg bag. The same mix is also sold as Grain Selection Multigrain 20kg for larger households and breeders.
Benefits
- Two chaffs — oaten and lucerne chaff add long-strand fibre to the grain base.
- Low on added fruit — less scope for selective feeding than the fruit mixes.
- Fortified pellet base — carries the vitamin and mineral premix.
