Eight coffee wood slices at 8-10cm — the longest of the wood chews, and the format a rabbit can plant a foot on and gnaw along. Length is what makes a wood chew last, so these outlast the small blocks by a good margin.
They are hard. An older animal with worn teeth, or one that has never had wood before, may ignore them at first — leave one in with a softer chew and let it work up to them rather than removing everything else.
Why a chew earns its place
Rabbit and rodent teeth grow continuously, and an animal with nothing to work on finds something — usually skirting boards, cage bars or cable. Giving it a chew it is allowed to destroy is the practical fix, and it deals with the boredom at the same time.
