The West Paw Feast Mat puts two kinds of enrichment on one piece of rubber: a slow feeder on one face, with deep grooves your dog has to nose and lick dry food out of, and a shallower lick mat on the other for pate, yoghurt or wet food that can be spread and frozen. It is a 10 inch square, and we stock it in two moulded patterns — Waves and Bubbles — across Tropic Red, Marine Blue, Kelp Green, Lavender, Bubblegum, Mint and Periwinkle. The slow-feeder side is what most people buy it for: a dog that clears a bowl of kibble in twenty seconds will take several minutes over this one. Two caveats. It is a feeding accessory, not a toy, so it needs supervising and taking away if it gets chewed. And a 10 inch square holds a modest serve — a large dog's full dinner will not fit on it in one go.

Made in the USA from Seaflex, West Paw's blend of recycled ocean-bound plastic and zero-waste Zogoflex, and recyclable back to West Paw through its Join the Loop program. Non-toxic: BPA free, phthalate free, latex free and FDA compliant. Not a toy — unsupervised use is risky, so remove the mat if it is damaged.
