Cazitel is a flavoured broad spectrum intestinal wormer for dogs. It treats roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm including hydatid tapeworm. Two tablet strengths are stocked: one tablet per 10kg in a 4 tablet pack, and one tablet per 35kg in a 2 tablet pack.
Which strength — the 35kg tablet is simply a tidier way to dose a large dog than counting out four small ones. Weigh the dog and round up to the next whole tablet; adult dogs are usually wormed every three months and puppies more often.
Cazitel does not prevent heartworm and has no flea or tick activity. For heartworm as well, see the products below.
