Repti Glo 5.0 is Exo Terra's older name for what it now sells as the Reptile UVB100 — the tropical tier of its linear UVB range, matched to the shaded rain forest light that tropical and sub-tropical species evolved under. Same tube, older packaging. It comes in one size here, 14W at 38cm, which is the short length missing from our main Reptile UVB100 T8 range. Like every UVB fluorescent tube it emits UVB and light but no meaningful heat, so a basking lamp is still needed.
38cm is a short hood — measure the inside of your fixture before ordering, since a T8 tube only fits the length it was built for. If your fixture is 45cm or longer, the Reptile UVB100 T8 tube covers 45cm to 120cm. Desert species want the UVB150 instead, and Exo Terra suggests adding the Natural Light tube for visible light. Heat comes from a basking lamp or ceramic heat emitter. More in our Exo Terra collection.

- UVA included — stimulates appetite, activity and reproductive behaviour.
- Long-lasting tropical terrarium bulb — Exo Terra's own description of this tube.
