The Pet Teezer Puppy Brush uses softer, more flexible bristles than the De-Shedding brush. It is aimed at a puppy's first coat, where the point is to build a tolerance for grooming rather than to remove much hair, and at adult dogs that flinch at anything firmer.
It will not shift a heavy adult undercoat. Once the puppy coat has gone and a proper double coat is dropping, move up to the Pet Teezer De-Shedding brush. For sensitive skin with no pins at all, see Pet + Me. More in Health Care.
Features
- Soft flexible bristles — for first coats and grooming-shy dogs.
- Builds tolerance — makes early grooming sessions a positive experience.
- Two-tier design — the same layout as the De-Shedding brush, gentler.
- Moulded handle — comfortable for short frequent sessions.
Care
Pull hair from the bristles after each session. Keep early sessions short and reward the puppy for standing still — a minute a day beats a fortnightly battle.
