The carrot version of the same 8 x 3cm hanging chew. The tapered end gives a small animal an obvious place to start, which is why nervous or inexperienced chewers often take to this shape before they take to a block of wood.
Why a chew earns its place
Rabbit and rodent teeth grow continuously, and an animal with nothing to work on finds something — usually skirting boards, cage bars or cable. Giving it a chew it is allowed to destroy is the practical fix, and it deals with the boredom at the same time.
