Horse Hoof Care

Horse hoof care products for use on the hoof and in the feed. Topical products include Equinade Hoof Grease, Hoof Salve, Hoof Lube and Black Jack Enamel, and Kelato HoofPRIME dressing. For feeding, there is Kelato BiotinMAX Concentrate and EAC Animal Care in-Stride hoof supplement.

Topical or supplement?

Topical products work on the outside of the hoof wall and sole, and are applied as needed or for presentation, like Black Jack Enamel before a show.

Hoof supplements work on new horn as it grows from the coronet band. Hoof grows slowly, so it takes months of daily feeding before any change reaches the ground surface. Judge a supplement over that time, not a few weeks.

Your farrier is the best judge of what your horse's feet need. Cracks, soreness or a change in how the horse moves need a farrier or vet, not only a product.
