A terrarium canopy that holds screw-based compact fluorescent and LED bulbs behind a highly polished reflector, so you can mix UVB, daylight and plant bulbs over one enclosure and change the mix as the setup matures. The hard limit to know before you buy: it is rated for compact fluorescent and LED bulbs only, 26W maximum per socket. Incandescent and halogen basking globes are not suitable — those belong in a Light Dome or Wire Light.

Four sizes, and the socket count goes up with the length: 30cm takes one bulb, 45cm takes two, 60cm takes three and 90cm takes four. Match the canopy to the width of your terrarium. Bulbs are sold separately — typically a Reptile UVB100 or UVB150 alongside the Natural Light or a High Power LED plant lamp. Full range in our Exo Terra collection.

Features

  • Polished reflector — Exo Terra rates it as boosting bulb performance 2.5 times, and 25% above a regular reflector.
  • Multiple sockets — run UVB, daylight and plant bulbs together instead of compromising on one bulb.
  • Sliding rim — mounts optional accessories along the length of the canopy.
  • On/off switch — on the unit, so you are not reaching for the wall socket.
  • Sized to Exo Terra terrariums — the 45cm and 90cm units are made to sit on the Natural Terrarium and Screen Terrarium Small and Large.
