Blackwater Extract turns clear tap water into the tannin-stained, soft, acidic water that Amazon and Southeast Asian fish evolved in. It is a concentrate of fulvic and humic acids that pulls down calcium, magnesium and sodium and nudges pH lower, and it tints the water a tea colour — that tint is the product working, not a fault. It moves water chemistry in one direction only, so it suits soft-water species; if you keep hard-water fish such as African cichlids or livebearers, this is the wrong tool.

Ingredients
Demineralised water, concentrated fulvic acid (extracted from natural organic matter), humic acid complex (derived from decomposed plant material), natural organic compounds, botanical extracts, pH buffer system.
Directions for Use
Shake well. Standard dose is 1 capful (10ml) per 100L of aquarium water, added directly and distributed through the tank. Allow 24 hours for full effect and test pH and hardness. On a new set-up, dose to the level you want before adding livestock. On an established tank, introduce gradually and acclimate sensitive species — shrimp especially — slowly. Reapply after each water change to hold the blackwater conditions.
Safety
For aquarium use only. Not for human consumption — keep out of reach of children and pets, and seek medical advice immediately if swallowed. Store below 25°C out of direct sunlight and use within 2–3 years of opening.
