Rumpus is built around three fat chew lobes joined at the centre, and the reason to pick it over a plain ball is that the lobes give molars something to sink into instead of a smooth surface to slide off. The same geometry makes it tumble unpredictably when it lands, so it rocks and rolls away from a dog rather than stopping dead. It is rated for tough chewers and it floats. Two sizes are stocked, Small at 13cm and Medium at 16cm, in blue, green and orange. Note there is no Large: if you have a big-jawed dog who wants something longer to carry, a Large Hurley or a Zwig will serve better. Rumpus is also the wrong toy if your dog's whole game is chasing something that rolls fast and straight — that is a Jive. It goes through the dishwasher, which matters on a toy this chewed.
