The defining number for Zwig is 35cm. It is one size, and that length is the entire design: it puts a comfortable gap between your hands and a set of teeth during tug, and it gives two dogs room to take an end each without meeting in the middle. The twisted profile is easier for a dog to pick up off grass than a straight bar would be, and it is a far safer thing to carry around than the twig it replaces, with nothing to splinter. The core is hollow, so it has a squishy give that most solid rubber sticks do not. Zwig is rated for tough chewers and it floats, so it lies flat on the surface of a dam rather than sinking out of reach. Six colourways are stocked: purple eggplant, jungle green, orange melon, aqua blue, dandelion yellow and hot pink. Being one size, though, Zwig is simply too long for a small dog to balance — a chihuahua or a toy poodle will do better on an X-Small Hurley.
