Teat F is a latex teat with a rounded, bulbous nipple, shaped specifically for flying foxes and fruit bats. Wombaroo also lists it as suitable for some breeds of dog. Nipple shape, not size, is what separates it from the other teats that fit the same bottles.
It pushes onto the Wombaroo Feeding Bottle, and onto any bottle whose neck measures 18–24 mm.
Preparing the teat and feeding
There is no hole in the teat as supplied. A hot needle through the tip gives a hole of about 1 mm in diameter, which should let milk drip slowly out of an inverted bottle. Where the animal is very small, a syringe with the teat pulled over the end gives finer control of flow through the plunger. Technique varies by species, so obtain guidance from experienced carers. Wash in warm soapy water, dry, and store away from light.
