Wombaroo Teat LD for Large Dogs & Wombats

Teat LD is a latex teat with a medium nipple, for large dogs, large possums, and wombats and koalas still pouch-bound.

It is the larger of the two dog-and-possum teats: Teat SD carries a short nipple for small dogs, possums and gliders, while LD is the medium-nipple step up for the bigger animals in the same group.

Sleeve diameter suits bottle necks of 18–24 mm, the Wombaroo Feeding Bottle included.

Making the hole, and how to feed

Pierce the tip with a hot needle to make a hole about 1 mm in diameter, or cut one with scissors for a large animal, then confirm milk drips slowly from an inverted bottle. Very small animals are often fed from a syringe with the teat pulled over the end, giving control of flow through the plunger. Guidance should be obtained from experienced carers on correct feeding technique. Wash in warm soapy water, dry, and store away from light.
