Wombaroo Teat D Fits Larger Bottles

Teat D is a latex teat with a medium nipple on a broader sleeve, for deer, large dogs, newborn lambs, cria and piglets.

The wider sleeve fits any bottle with a 26 mm neck diameter, a soft drink bottle included — it does not fit the 18–24 mm necks the rest of the range uses.

Hole size and feeding technique

Guidance should be obtained from experienced carers on correct feeding technique before the first feed. The teat comes without a hole: make one about 1 mm in diameter by piercing the tip with a hot needle, or cut it with scissors for a large animal, and confirm that milk drips slowly from an inverted bottle. Very small animals are easier to manage from a syringe with a teat pulled over the end. Wash, dry and store away from light.
